My name is Niko Whitefeather, I’m a father, husband, brother, and ceremonialist. My path has been deeply shaped by my immersion in the transformative power of sacred medicines and earth-based traditions. Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working with plant medicines and learning from remarkable healers across North and South America, including indigenous traditions like the Afro-Brazilian Mediumistic lineages, the Red Road of the Oglala Lakota Sioux, and the Q'ero of the Peruvian Andes.
As a practitioner and student of Transformational Energy Healing and a certified Psychospiritual Coach, I have been blessed with the privilege to serve others on their healing journeys. My personal path began in a place of confusion and pain, evolving into a deep sense of purpose and service through sacred medicines and spiritual teachings. My journey took me from an in-patient treatment program in Oregon to South and Central America, where ceremonies and other indigenous practices catalyzed
major transformation in my consciousness which continues to ripple out into my life.
For the past decade, I have been immersed in the mediumistic Afro-Brazilian traditions, evolving in my role as both a student and a supporter. Under the mentorship of elders, I have deepened my understanding of spiritual practices, including energetic healing, prayer, and ceremony. It has been a true honor to hold space for others in the leadership roles I’ve been entrusted within this tradition.
Since transitioning to offering full-time therapeutic spaces and healing sessions in 2021, I have had the privilege of supporting well over 200 individuals across the Americas, through organizations like Psychedelic Passage, legal entheogenic churches, and my own independent practice.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Integrative Psychedelic Therapy through the Ecstatic Mysticism program at AWE Institute. This program allows me to study at the intersection of transpersonal psychology and indigenous wisdom, learning from leading experts in modern trauma-informed therapies, as well as indigenous teachers from the Yawanawá and Huni Kuin peoples of the Amazon, the Bwiti of Gabon, the Huicholes of Mexico, and the Ai/Cofán tribe of the Colombian Amazon.
I approach my work through a psychospiritual lens, blending non-dogmatic, earth-based spirituality with modern, trauma-informed methodologies. My guiding belief is that every symptom—whether emotional, physical, or spiritual—signifies a healing process already underway. My role is to support individuals in recognizing and embracing that process to uncover the gifts within their struggles, helping them navigate their unique paths of transformation with self-compassion, clarity, and a full bodied, heart-centered, “Yes.”
I am not a licensed mental health professional and do not provide medical advice. Rather, I am a fellow traveler on the path, called to share the tools I have gathered, offer guidance, and humbly remain a student of this unfolding journey.

The Facility
This 700-square-foot yurt, nestled in the forest just 30 minutes from Portland International Airport (PDX), is the culmination of a years-long prayer to create and steward a sacred space for healing and transformation. Built in prayer and ceremony with beloved members of our community, this womb-like space offers a peaceful, nature-connected environment for deep work. The funds to manifest this vision were graciously provided by a client turned family friend, who insisted, through her inspiration and support to help bring this dream to life. This space came from prayer, from love, from charity, and that is all that happens here.
The yurt is rustic and intentionally set to cultivate a deeply authentic, nature-connected experience. It is free from electricity, with a composting toilet and a cozy wood-burning stove that ensures warmth during the colder months. The absence of modern comforts creates an ideal setting for deep work, offering the space to fully unravel and go deep.
That being said, comfort is important to consider. If you feel you need amenities like running water or a flushing toilet to fully relax and let go, it might be better for me to come to you, or for you to rent an Airbnb for a more comfortable retreat experience. However, there is something uniquely powerful about stepping outside the familiarity of our everyday lives. Being in a new, intentionally created space can help break old patterns and open the door to deeper experiences.
Ceremonies can take place in the yurt or, if preferred, in the comfort of your own home. If you’re interested in having me come to you, we can discuss travel expenses further. Regardless of location, this space was created with ceremony in mind, and it holds a palpable, cultivated energy that is conducive to the deep healing work we do here.
